My First Mentor
Pilar C. Niebla

I had walked far and not seen the faces
Of the beloved ones.

Digressing, my eyes was I loosing in void words
Of crazy pagans.
I had questions hammering me and
An affected curiousity condemned my soul
In the asphalt.

You came to me, like a tide out of hour,
But appropriate.
You came to me and in the bottom of my ego I built
Your house,
-House of friend, of best friend, confident,
Sister-.

Mentor of past times, partner in business
-And in escapes-.

The Universe has united us as found flowers
Tracing the way of ideas
Where we go together, but separate.

I know some day not written in the Calendar
I’ll arrive to the port where you’ll be waiting for me,
To tell me that everything was true,
That nothing was in vain
And our dreams
Were pure.
